Holland, Michigan Β· Auto glass & windshield replacement

Windshields, chip repair, and glass for anything you drive.

We do windshields on cars and pickups every day. We also do semis, boats, motorhomes, excavators, and antique and classic cars. When another shop turns a job down, this is usually where it ends up.

What we do

More than just windshields.

Glass Enterprise replaces and repairs auto glass in Holland, Michigan, and across western Michigan. Most days that means a windshield on a car or a pickup. The rest of the time it's the work other shops turn down.

The main thing

Windshield replacement & repair

A rock chip caught early is a quick fill. Leave it through one Michigan cold snap and it spreads into a crack, and a crack usually means a new windshield. Call while it's still small. That call is free, and it's almost always the cheaper fix.

Newer windshields carry driver-assist cameras and rain sensors that have to be recalibrated once the new glass is set. Give us the year, make, and model and we'll handle the calibration.

The hard ones

Glass for the vehicles other shops turn away.

Most auto glass shops do cars and light trucks and stop there. That's the easy half of the market. The other half is why fleets, marinas, farms, and collectors in western Michigan end up on 58th St.

Semi-trucks & fleets

Over-the-road and local fleet glass. A parked truck costs you money, so we turn it around fast.

Heavy equipment

Tractors, loaders, graders, excavators. Cab glass in odd shapes and thicknesses.

Boats & marine

Windscreens and cabin glass. Lake Michigan is twenty minutes from the shop.

Motorhomes & RVs

Big flat glass most shops won't touch, plus the side and door glass.

Antiques & classics

Antique and classic cars too, the ones other shops turn away.

Everything else

Odd, old, or one-of-a-kind. Bring it by and we'll tell you straight.

The crew

The same people, every time you come in.

Glass Enterprise is family owned and operated, and has been in business 40 years. Read through the reviews and the same thing comes up more than anything else: the staff. More people mention the people here than the speed or the price.

That's not a fluke. It's a small shop in Holland where the person who answers the phone is the person who does the work, and they've been at it long enough that most of the hard jobs in western Michigan have already come through the door once.

Reviews

What people say after we fix their glass.

Most people only need an auto glass shop once, usually after a rough day. These are the customers who took the time to leave a review anyway.

Called for a quote at 11:00 in the morning and got an appointment scheduled for 2:30 the same day! Awesome job. So glad I went with them rather than a more 'chain' business...

Straight answers

Where are you located?

We're at 4270 58th St, Holland, MI 49423. That stretch of road is signed as both 58th St and Blue Star Highway. It's the same road and the same shop, so your GPS might show either one.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

How much does a windshield replacement cost?

It depends on the year, make, and model, and on whether the glass carries sensors or heating elements. Call 616-396-3487 with the vehicle details and you'll get a real number, not a range.

Do you handle insurance claims?

Yes. We help you get the claim set up, and from there we handle it. Call with your insurer and policy details and we'll tell you what it covers before anything gets ordered.

Can a chip be repaired, or does the whole windshield have to go?

Often, yes. Small rock chips can usually be filled if you catch them before they spread. Once a crack starts traveling, a full replacement is normally the only option. Michigan winters turn chips into cracks fast, so it pays to call early.

Can you handle windshields with cameras and sensors?

Yes. A lot of newer windshields carry driver-assist cameras and rain or light sensors that need recalibrating once the new glass is in. We do that here with Autel OEM-approved equipment. Mention the year, make, and model when you call so we bring in the right glass.

Do you do mobile service?

Yes. We can come to your home or your workplace. That said, most of our work happens at the shop on 58th St, and there's a waiting room if you'd rather wait with your vehicle.

Do you really do boats and excavators?

Yes, along with semi-trucks, motorhomes, RVs, tractors, loaders, graders, fleet vehicles, and antique and classic cars. It's a real part of what we do, not a line on a website.

That crack isn't going to fix itself.

Tell us the year, make, and model. We'll tell you the price and the day.
